Watching the Colour Grade Remotely

You’ll watch the live grade using DaVinci Remote Monitor on your iPhone, iPad, or computer.

We’ll send you a session code to join securely.

Secure access:
We’ll send you a private session code to copy and paste.
Only people with the code can view the grade session.

Viewing is free: You do not need a DaVinci Resolve Studio license to view a session.

Important — before you watch

Turn off Night Shift and True Tone
On Apple devices, Night Shift and True Tone change the colour of the display and will interfere with what you are seeing.

You can find these settings in:

Settings → Display & Brightness → True Tone
Settings → Display & Brightness → Night Shift

Please disable both before the session.

Get set up

Install the viewer and create your free account. The video walkthrough is optional.

Before the session (5 minutes)

Install the viewer

On iPhone/iPad, install DaVinci Remote Monitor from the App Store link above.

Sign in with Blackmagic Cloud

Open the app/viewer and sign in (or create an account). This takes about five minutes.

Joining the grade

Enter the session code

Open Remote Monitor → tap Join → paste the session code we send you.

Watch live

You’ll see grading changes as they happen. Playback is controlled from the grading suite.

This is a review stream. Final colour approval always happens from the delivered master.

Troubleshooting

Image looks warm or tinted? Double-check Night Shift and True Tone are turned off.

No picture? Close and reopen the app/viewer, then re-enter the session code.

Stuttering? Switch to Wi-Fi if possible and let us know.
